little house in the woods
I found a little house to live in, and although I will not move in until August, I am love with it already. It’s tucked back in the woods, with a gravel road leading down a hill in a neighborhood full of gardens and rocking chair porches.

So tomorrow I drive halfway across the country to look for a place to live in what will soon be my new city…I am eager to check out some of the places I’ve investigated online, but it’s a lot to think about and to plan! Last week I spent a lovely vacation in northern Michigan with my family. It was a nice way to wrap up the quiet part of the summer.
